Gas spring reverse force

Gas spring with reverse force

A gas spring with reverse force is a specialized spring designed for lift and flap doors, in which the force acts in the opposite direction, i.e. instead of assisting the opening, it provides a controlled closing. This makes it particularly suitable for mechanisms that require smooth and safe retraction of the door without a sudden slamming
🔹 Working principle:
The gas spring with reverse force contains a cylinder filled with pressurized nitrogen and a piston that controls the movement of the door.
When opening, an applied force is required to overcome the resistance of the spring
When closing, the gas in the spring exerts pressure, ensuring smooth and controlled movement
A built-in buffer at the end of the stroke reduces the impact when reaching the end position
🔹 Features and benefits:
✔ Controlled and safe closing of the door
✔ Reduces sudden movement and protects against impacts
✔ Extends the life of the hinges and mechanism
✔ Different force levels according to the application.
🔹 Applications:
✅ Kitchen cabinets with drop-down doors
✅ Folding mechanisms in furniture
✅ Industrial machines and technical covers
